Test Trotora before it launches
We are getting Trotora ready for the Play Store and we need people who ride, keep horses or run a yard to try it first. You do not need to do much: sign up, install, and tell us what feels wrong.
What you need
- An Android phone. The beta runs through the Play Store, so iPhone does not work yet.
- A Google account, the same one you use in the Play Store.
- About five minutes to get set up.
How to join
Do these in order. The app stays invisible in the Play Store until step 2 is done, so skipping ahead lands you on a page that says the app does not exist.
Join the testers group
This is how Google knows you are allowed in. Use the same Google account you use on your phone.
Join the groupBecome a tester
Open this on your phone and tap the button that makes you a tester. This is the step people skip, and without it nothing else works.
Open the tester pageInstall Trotora
After step 2 the Play Store shows the app. Install it, create an account, and have a look around.
Open in the Play Store
Please keep the app installed
Google counts how many testers we have, and it has to stay above twelve for two weeks before we are allowed to launch. If you uninstall the app or leave the group, that count drops and we start over. If you want out, just let us know.
If something does not work
- The Play Store says the app does not exist
- You are not a tester yet, or you are signed in with a different Google account. Go back to step 2 and check which account is at the top of that page.
- You have more than one Google account on your phone
- This is the most common cause. Sign up as a tester with the same account the Play Store uses, otherwise the app stays hidden.
- You signed up but see nothing
- It can take a few minutes to come through. Close the Play Store completely and open it again.
- The app is not available in your country
- Let us know where you are. We can add your country to the test.
Telling us something
Anything is useful: a screen that looks broken, a word that reads oddly, a step you did not understand. A screenshot with one line of explanation is plenty. "I do not get this" is feedback too.
